| Welcome and thank you for visiting the “Metrolina Trauma Advisory Committee” (MTAC) website. The MTAC is one of eight Regional Advisory Councils (RAC’s) originally established for the purpose of regional trauma system development (1998). Utilizing this regional approach, North Carolina more recently directed statewide disaster preparedness in similar fashion. Present day, each of North Carolinas RAC’s assume regional responsibility in developments of both trauma and disaster preparedness. | |
