The above photo is an arial view of our MTAC M8 Mobile Field Hospital set up in conjunction with the Stanly County SMAT III and Charlotte Fire Department at the Stanly County Airport, Albemarle NC.
This was a functional exercise in April 2011 testing the teams 72 hour logistical and medical care sustainment capabilities during a mock medical surge event.
The exercise was a great success and could not have been achieved without the participation from many throughout our region including members of Stanly County SMAT III, Lincoln County EMS and others. Visit more photo's of this event on our Disaster Preparedness page.
