Requesting SMAT Assistance

       SMAT II Team Disaster Activation:

           * SMAT II teams will be deployed by the host hospital locally, or regionally or statewide through the North Carolina Department of Emergency Management. The teams can also be deployed nationally through an EMAC Agreement http://www.emacweb.org/?1530

           * SMAT II teams should be deployed within their RAC within six hours, and statewide within twelve to twenty-four hours.
